Be respectful to other contributors. Please keep any issues not related to the project outside of the server, if there's anything you believe will effect your experience as a contributor please handle privately with mods and any party directly involved. We're here to help.Communications in the Zine Discord server should be kept private in order to preserve the privacy and the creative processes of our contributors, and the exclusivity of the content to be featured in the zine.If you have any questions or issues at any point in the process of this zine’s creation, please message any of the mods, and we will work with you to resolve the problem.❄ Deadlines ❄
Adhere to all deadlines per the official schedule. If you are unable to meet a deadline, please message a mod as soon as you're aware of it so we can work with you to accommodate your specific situation.❄ Creative Obligation ❄
By signing up as a contributor to this zine, you agree to commit the time, energy, and resources required to see your pieces through to completion. If an emergency arises that prevents you from completing your pieces for the zine, you must message a mod as soon as possible to inform us of your circumstances so a pinch hitter can be brought in to fill your spot.❄ Creative Works Exclusivity ❄
Full pieces you create for this project are to remain exclusive until after their designated day of “opening.” After this time period passes, you may post your pieces publicly. Limited teaser previews of your pieces may be posted publicly with permission from the zine's host. More details will be given on a later date.❄ Financial Transparency ❄
All contributors are entitled to view a full breakdown of the zine's income, costs, and expenses (with personal purchaser identifying information redacted) upon request.❄ Compensation ❄
If sales are met, the mod team has budgeted for all contributors to receive the physical merchandise, including shipping, at the minimum. Please know that the fulfillment of this goal depends upon box sales.❄ Discourse ❄

No discussion of spoilers. While we are allowing appropriately tagged manga spoilers within zine pieces, we are not allowing discussion of manga spoilers! Please keep excitement about new chapters or information to DMs or personal channels only.❄ Agreement ❄
In agreeing to join the zine as a contributor, you promise to adhere to the rules above. Failure to adhere to the rules might result in you being removed from the project.
Application Guidelines

Please create a folder for your portfolio in Google Drive
with your chosen credit name in the Drive folder's name.
Be sure the permissions are set to be viewed by anyone with the link.Merch artists will be responsible for a minimum of three (3) pieces of merchandise, if not creating a print. In the instance they are creating a print, they will be required, but not limited to, two (2) pieces of merch.❄ Application Guidelines ❄
You MUST be 18+ by April 1, 2023 in order to participate.Submit three (3) to six (6) samples of finished work that best represent your style & ability. Unless applying as solely a print artist we ask that you have at least two different types of merchandise represented in your application.We will judge pieces based on composition, color and/or value, understanding of form & depth, and rendering.We will consider more unique items during pitches, but if you have the desire to create a certain type of merchandise for the project (enamel pins, shaker charms, etc), it is encouraged to show work examples of those types of merch. Please note that this is not a guarantee that any artist will be assigned any specific type of merch.

| What is a Fandom Holiyay Box? | Holiyay boxes are advent calendar inspired merchandise boxes! We will be compiling a box of goodies that you can open daily with the rest of the fandom! (Or all at once if you choose.) |
| What type of merch will be in the box? | Since this is our flagship year, in order to keep costs down and make it affordable for consumers, the majority of the box will include merchandise such as die cut stickers, exclusive winter-themed prints, and sticker sheets. We hope to achieve a good blend of merch—with the chance of a few surprise 3D pieces! |
| Will you have Merch Artist applications? | YES! We will be holding applications, though the number of artists will depend on how big our boxes will be which is contingent on the interest checks. |
| How many pieces are you requiring the artist to complete? | Each merch artist will be required to complete a minimum of 3 pieces, UNLESS they are completing a print. Prints will require full backgrounds and with such stipulations the mod team understands that they can take more time than something such as a die cut sticker or charm. |
| If I’m normally a page artist can I apply to create prints? | Yes! While these are “merch” boxes, we don’t want to exclude any artists and encourage you to apply! |
| **Is this a NSFW or a SFW project? ** | 100% SFW! In the future we may venture into a more spicy merch box but this year we’ve opted to keep it SFW so it's more accessible to everyone! |
| How old do I have to be to participate? | All participants must be 18+ at the time of application. |
